Possible Ancient Meteor Crater found by Research & Associates' Rod Johnson...
Yes, it is true ... A very possible ancient Meteor Crater has been detected by using a home PC Computer and viewing infrared data available to the public.
The impact site would have been devastating to this part of the U.S., but this site probably happened from 2 to 65 million years ago. The crater is huge ... about 18 miles across! You will not believe the location! A crater this size could not be viewed from the ground or by air. It took satellite technology to find it! That is, if it really is a crater. Let us know what you think.
Rod found the site while looking for possible gold and mineral deposits using the Infrared Technology.

Notice the rise in the middle of the suspected site typical of a meteor crater. There is also a fracture ring outside the crater showing the tremendous possible impact of such an event.
Whether or not this is an Impact Site will be debated over a period of time and should give some university students and professors something to work on.
